SAP Appoints COO and CIO; Makes Other Regional Management Changes
SAP appointed Christian Klein, 35, as COO and Thomas Saueressig, 31, as CIO. In his role as SAP chief controlling officer he is also responsible for SAPs Group Controlling and oversees the company's growth and profitability strategy. Klein joined SAP as a student in 1999.
Saueressig is the youngest CIO at a German DAX company, who will lead SAPs IT organization and report to the COO. Saueressig joined SAP in 2004 and was previously global head of IT service.
Scott Russell was named president and managing director for SAP Southeast Asia. He was most recently the COO for SAP Asia Pacific Japan and interim president and managing director for SAP Southeast Asia for the last quarter, where he helped to ensure business continuity.
Rufat Gadzhialibelov is now the head of its Azerbaijan unit. Gadzhialibekov earlier worked as head of Microsoft Azerbaijan. He succeeds Sarkhan Gashimov.
Adobe Names New VP, Adobe Research
Adobe has brought on board noted computer scientist Anandan Padmanabhan to head its big data experience Lab in Bengaluru as VP, Adobe Research. Padmanabhan, who in his previous role was the MD of research outreach at Microsoft will lead the company's big data research initiatives in the region.

Intuit appointed Raul Vazquez, CEO of Oportun, a financial technology company, to its board of directors. Prior to joining Oportun, Vazquez spent nine years at Walmart in various senior leadership roles.
Fiserv Appoints CAO as Principal Accounting Officer

Workday named Robynne Sisco as CFO. Prior to joining Workday in 2012 as chief accounting officer, Robynne was chief accounting officer and corporate controller at VMware, SVP and chief accounting officer at VeriSign and assistant controller at Oracle.
Red Hat Appoints Regional Leaders and Principal Accounting Officer
Red Hat named Massimo Fatato as VP of the firm's broadened telecoms business in EMEA. Fatato joined Red Hat from HP, where he worked as general manager for its Operations Support System (OSS) portfolio globally, having formerly held designations at Cisco and Accenture.
Alejandro Raffaele joined Red Hat as its head of telecommunications and media in Latin America. Raffaele will be in charge of the management of operations and business relationships with leading telecommunications and data center services companies in the region.
Eric R. Shander, 47, will serve as the company’s principal accounting officer. Shander joined the company in November 2015 as VP, Finance and Accounting. Prior to that, he spent over twenty years at IBM, most recently as VP/Global Services Automation & Competitiveness.
Couple of Autodesk Directors Not to Stand for Re-election
Autodesk’s two long-standing directors, J. Hallam Dawson, 78, and Per-Kristian Halvorsen, 63, have decided to not stand for reelection to the Board. Dawson is the retired chairman of IDI Associates, a private Latin American investment bank. Halvorsen is the chief innovation officer and a SVP at Intuit.
CA Names Corporate Communications Leader and Head of Latin American Operations
CA Technologies announced that Darlàn Monterisi has been named SVP of Corporate Communications. Most recently, Monterisi was a partner and managing director at Porter Novelli in New York. Prior to that Monterisi was global PR director for Rockstar Games.
The company has appointed Claudia Vasquez as its new head of Latin American operations. Vazquez will replace Larcio Albuquerque, who held the position since 2012 and left the company a few days ago. Vasquez was VP of sales for the Andean region prior to this appointment.
Citrix Systems Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO, Resigns
David R. Friedman, 54, resigned as Citrix's Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO, which he served since April 2015. Friedman served as SVP of Human Resources at Citrix since April 2006 until March 2015 and served as its General Counsel since 2002 until March 2015.
Michael A. Brown to Step Down as President and CEO of Symantec
Symantec announced that Michael A. Brown, 56, will step down as President and CEO. Brown will continue to serve as CEO and as a director of the Company until a successor has been appointed. Brown has been the CEO since September 2014 and served as its President from September 2014.
Total System Services Elects Acquired Company TransFirst’s CEO as Senior EVP
Total System Services, the provider of infrastructure software to the payments industry, completed its acquisition of TransFirst and the company also announced that TransFirst’s president and CEO, John Shlonsky, has been elected as Senior EVP of TSYS, and will lead the combined businesses.
NetApp Sees Board and Senior Leadership Changes
Tor Braham, 58, resigned from the Board of NetApp. Braham has been Managing Director and Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions at Warburg Dillion Read, a subsidiary of UBS AG since 1997.
NetApp appointed Ronald J. Pasek, 55, as EVP and CFO of the Company (as well as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer). Prior to his appointment, he served as SVP, Finance and CFO of Altera Corporation until its acquisition by Intel in December 2015.
Pasek succeeds Jeffrey K. Bergmann, who has served as the Company's interim CFO since January 2016. Bergmann will resume his previous role as VP of corporate finance of the Company.
Robert Salmon, 54, will retire from his position as President of NetApp. Salmon will remain an employee of the company until June, to provide transition services to the company. Henri Richard, newly appointed EVP of Worldwide Field and Customer Operations, succeeds Salmon.
Richard will join NetApp at the beginning of the company's fiscal year 2017. He joins NetApp from SanDisk Corporation.
Cadence Design Systems CFO to Retire Next Year
Cadence Design Systems SVP and CFO Geoff Ribar, who joined the company in 2010, has decided to retire from Cadence effective March 31, 2017. Cadence has initiated a comprehensive search to identify the company's next CFO.

FireEye Announce Management Changes Based On Succession Plan
FireEye announced the implementation of its senior management succession plan. David DeWalt, currently FireEye’s CEO and Chairman of the Board, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of FireEye and step down as CEO. Kevin Mandia, FireEye’s current President, will transition to the role of CEO of FireEye and step down as President.
