ServiceNow Appoints New CEO as Director; Appoints New Leader for India
ServiceNow expanded the size of the Board from ten to eleven members and appointed new President and CEO John J. Donahoe to Board. Donahoe was appointed as a director in connection with his appointment as the Company's President and CEO.
ServiceNow also announced the appointment of Edgar Dias to the role of Managing Director, India. Dias joins ServiceNow from Brocade, where he led the Indian and SAARC business. Prior to Brocade, Dias worked at Juniper and Nortel Networks.
Capgemini Announces Cloud Infrastructure Services Leadership Appointment
Capgemini confirmed a number of Group leadership appointments. Jean-Philippe Bol, formerly Deputy Head of Application Services Two1 becomes Head of the Cloud Infrastructure Services Strategic Business Unit. Prior to this, from January 2016, he served as Deputy Head of the Application Services Two (which covers France, Benelux, Nordics, Germany and Central Europe, and Southern Europe). Between 2014 and 2016 Jean-Philippe was COO of Application Services Two in charge of all operations.
Amy Chang to Step Down from Splunk Board
Amy Chang, founder/CEO of Accompany, will not stand for re-election to the Board of Directors of Splunk. She was appointed to the Splunk board in March 2015.
Flex Names Kevin Kettler as CTO and SVP of the Cloud Business Unit
Flex announced Dr. Kevin Kettler has joined the company as CTO and SVP of the Cloud Business Unit, which is part of the Communications and Enterprise Compute (CEC) business group at Flex. Most recently, Dr. Kettler was a full time consultant in Qualcomm's new datacenter business unit.
Redpoint Ventures’ Partner Steps down from Board of Twilio
Scott Raney informed that he will not stand for re-election as a member of the Board of Directors of Twilio, the cloud communications platform as a service company. Raney is a Partner with Redpoint Ventures focusing on information and consumer technology.
RingCentral Announces Couple of Senior Management Changes
Clyde Hosein resigned as EVP and CFO of RingCentral. The company appointed Mitesh Dhruv, the company’s current SVP, Finance and Strategy, to serve as CFO, effective as of the same date as Hosein’s resignation. Dhruv, has served with the Company since April 2012 in a variety of positions.
Derrell James was appointed as SVP of professional services. Derrell brings more than 30 years of services experience at major technology companies and has held many senior leadership positions at various companies including Perot Systems, EMC, ACS, and most recently Avaya. At Avaya, James served as SVP of global strategic services, where he was responsible for a nearly $2 billion line of business.
Q2 Holdings Appoints Spredfast CFO as Board Member
Cloud-based digital banking solutions provider Q2 Holdings added Lynn Atchison, CFO of Spredfast, to its board of directors. Prior to Spredfast, Atchison served as the CFO of HomeAway from August 2006 until March 2016 shortly after it was acquired by Expedia, Inc.
MINDBODY’s Director Resigns
Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, Jeremy Levine, notified MINDBODY, the cloud-based business management software firm, of his intention to resign as a board member, in order to pursue other professional endeavours.
Endurance International Group Announces CEO Transition Plan; Chief Product Officer Leaves
Endurance International Group announced that its Board of Directors and its CEO Hari Ravichandran have adopted a CEO transition plan. Ravichandran will remain CEO and serve as a Board member while the company conducts a search to identify his successor.
Kenneth Surdan informed of his intention to resign from his position as the Company's Chief Product Officer. The effective date of Surdan's resignation has not been determined yet, but is expected to be in July 2017.
Carbonite Announces Board Changes
Carbonite, cloud and hybrid backup service provider, announced the election of Marina Levinson, with more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience, as new member of its Board of Directors. Levinson will hold office until 2020, succeeding Jeff Flowers, who co-founded Carbonite in 2005 and retired from the Board after 12 years of service. After serving as the CIO of NetApp and Palm, Levinson founded and is the CEO of CIO Advisory Group.
