Verizon Appoints Cisco Exec as VP, Smart Communities     

Mrinalini Ingram joined in the newly created position of VP, Smart Communities at Verizon. In this highly visible role, Ingram will shape the long-term vision and lead the execution of Verizon's Smart Communities product and solutions organization. Ingram came to Verizon from Cisco, where she spent 16 years, nearly a decade of which as a pioneer developing the Smart Communities industry on a global scale.

United Technologies Names GE's Vince Campisi as Digital SVP and CIO  

United Technologies appointed Vince Campisi as SVP, Digital, and CIO. He succeeds Nancy Davis, who will retire at the end of 2016, concluding a 37-year career at UTC. Campisi most recently served as COO for GE Digital. Campisi started with GE in 1999 and progressed through leadership roles in software development, IT, quality and operations. His most recent previous position was as General Manager, Cloud Services & CIO for GE Software.

Eli Lilly and Company Promotes Aarti Shah to SVP and CIO           

Aarti ShahEli Lilly and Company announced the promotion of Aarti Shah, Ph.D., to SVP and CIO. She has been the global brand development leader for immunology since 2013. Shah joined Lilly in 1994 as a senior statistician after completing her doctorate in applied statistics. In her new role, she will lead the efforts of a worldwide IT organization with more than 1,300 employees, in addition to many contractors and external business partners, to deliver innovative IT solutions to the business.

Boeing’s SVP for Engineering, Test & Technology Adds on CTO Role       

Boeing Company has appointed Greg Hyslop as CTO, replacing John Tracy. Hyslop was recently Boeing's SVP for Engineering, Test & Technology. He will continue in that role, reporting to Boeing chairman, president and CEO Dennis Muilenburg and serving on the company's executive council, while taking on the CTO duties.

Deloitte Exec to Lead Accenture Security     

Accenture announced Kelly Bissell is joining the company to lead Accenture Security. Bissell brings extensive knowledge of the cyber security landscape and comes to Accenture from Deloitte & Touche, where he headed up global Cyber Risk for the firm. During his career, he has served in almost every IT capacity from developer, network engineer, data center director, CISO, CTO and CIO.

Scotiabank Appoints Silicon Valley Technology Leader as EVP, Digital Banking    

Scotiabank announced that it has appointed Shawn Rose to the newly created position of EVP, Digital Banking. Most recently, he served as Group Chief Product Officer at Moneysupermarket.com, and previously as a CTO and VP of Core Platforms at Pearson, the largest education company and book publisher in the world. He also held senior roles at Ustream, FOX Broadcasting and CBS Interactive.

AIG Appoints JPMorgan Chase Exec as Chief Digital Officer          

AIG announced that Michael Lewis will join AIG as Chief Digital Officer. Most recently, Lewis served as global CTO, Digital for the consumer businesses at JPMorgan Chase. Lewis has also held senior technology roles at organizations such as Lloyd’s Banking Group, where he was Group CTO, and Bank of America, where he served as SVP, Technology Architecture & Development Executive.

UBS Group Names Standard Chartered IT Exec as CIO      

UBS Group named Michael Dargan as CIO. Dargan, who will assume his role in mid-September, will be responsible for group technology. Dargan was most recently Standard Chartered’s CIO for corporate and institutional banking.

Airbus Group Announces Technology Executive Changes    

Airbus Group appointed Paul Eremenko as its new CTO. Eremenko is currently heading the Group's A3 Innovation Centre based in San Jose, California. He is an aeronautics and astronautics engineer and worked at Google, Motorola and DARPA, the Pentagon's research agency. In his new capacity, Paul Eremenko is joined by Andy Anderson (58), who since the departure of the previous CTO Jean Botti (58) end of March was serving as acting CTO. As of 1 July 2016, Anderson, a 20-year veteran of Airbus Group, will resume his previous role as COO for the CTO organization and serve as Deputy to Paul Eremenko.

Nordea Establishes New Group Digital Unit; Announces Executive Changes         

Nordea established a new Group Digital unit with the objective to drive the digital agenda forward across the group.   The unit will be co-headed by Poul Raaholt, previously head of Group IT at Nordea, and Ewan MacLeod, previously responsible for the Retail digital transformation programme at Royal Bank of Scotland.

Alvaro Garrido, previously Group Head of Technology at Standard Chartered Bank, is appointed new head of Group IT.

VMware Names Intel's Chief Linux and Open Source Technologist as VP and Chief Open Source Officer

Dirk HohndelVMware appointed Dirk Hohndel as VP and Chief Open Source Officer. Before joining VMware, Hohndel spent nearly 15 years as Intel's Chief Linux and Open Source Technologist, guiding Intel's engagements in open source. Prior to his work at Intel, he served as CTO of SuSE and Unix Architect of Deutsche Bank.

RBS Appoints JP Morgan Chase Exec as the Head of Technology for its Global Hub in India       

RBS has appointed Punit Sood as the Head of Technology for its Global Hub in India. Sood previously worked at JP Morgan Chase. Sood has also worked at Citibank, Mphasis and GE Capital Services.

Givaudan Announces IT Executive Changes 

Givaudan has announced the retirement of Adrien Gonckel as CIO.  Fabien Jaunault, currently Head of IT Demand, is appointed Head of Global Information Management & Technology (IM&T). As Head of Givaudan Business Solutions, Anne Tayac will be responsible for designing Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS), a global organization for business services and solutions, to be gradually implemented in support of Givaudan's 2020 strategic pillar 'delivering with excellence'.

CA Appoints Former AirGrub and Cisco Exec as GM of India Technology Center  

CA Technologies announced that Surya Panditi has been named General Manager of its India Technology Center. Before joining CA, Panditi held leadership positions at several startups, including CEO of AirGrub, Advisor to StageOne Ventures and Advisor at Rasa Networks, acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Prior to that, he was SVP and GM of Cisco's Service Provider Networking Group.

Seagate Technology Promotes President of Operations and Technology to COO    

Seagate Technology has appointed William D. Mosley as the company's COO. Mosley has served as President of Operations and Technology since October 2013. He joined Seagate in 1996. Prior to joining Seagate, Mosley was a Research Physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a Senior Engineer at Micropolis and Conner Peripherals.

CBRE Group Appoints Capital One Exec as Chief Digital & Technology Officer   

CBRE Group announced that Chandra Dhandapani has been named the company’s Chief Digital & Technology Officer. Dhandapani is a longtime technology executive at Capital One Financial Corporation. Most recently, she served as Digital Transformation Leader and CIO of the banks Financial Services division, comprised of Capital Ones Auto Finance, Mortgage, Home Equity and Home Loans Servicing businesses.

Lincoln Electric Company Promotes Michele Kuhrt as EVP and CIO          

The Lincoln Electric Company has promoted Michele Kuhrt to EVP and CIO. Kuhrt joined Lincoln Electric in 1997 as Director of Taxes and in 2006 was elected as a Company Officer and SVP, Tax with responsibility for Lincoln Electric's global tax matters and the US payroll shared services center.

Starz Promotes Broadcast Engineering and Digital Platforms           Execs

Starz announced the promotion of Brad Martens to SVP, Broadcast Engineering and Jason Wyrick to SVP, Digital Platforms. Martens is responsible for the engineering, operations and transmission of the STARZ and STARZ ENCORE channels. Prior to joining the Starz engineering team in 2008, Martens was a Project Engineer with Beck Associates and served as Senior Director of Engineering and Operations for TCI/AT&T Broadband’s Digital Media Center.

Wyrick joined Starz in 2005 and was most recently VP of Digital Platforms at Starz. Prior to joining the company, Wyrick held a variety of management and engineering positions at both Fortune 500 companies as well as startups.

Pure Storage Appoints Epic Exec as VP and CTO of Global Healthcare Solutions  

Enterprise flash storage solutions company Pure Storage announced that Vik Nagjee has joined the company as VP and CTO of Global Healthcare Solutions. Prior to joining Pure, Nagjee was the CTO of Epic, where he directed the architecture, implementation and business development of Epic's service provider business, Epic Hosting.

Intercontinental Exchange Exec to Join TMX Group as CIO           

TMX Group appointed Jay Rajarathinam as CIO. Most recently, he served as SVP, Global Head of Infrastructure, Intercontinental Exchange. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Barclays and Wells Fargo.

Shutterstock Announces the Resignation of Anshu Aggarwal as CTO          

Shutterstock announced that Anshu Aggarwal, CTO of the company, notified the company of his decision to resign from his position, to spend more time with his family. The company has commenced an external search for a CTO to succeed Aggarwal.

Blackhawk Network Appoints CTO from PayPal

ADP Exec Joins ExlService as CTO  

ExlService Holdings, the provider of decision-analytics, operation management, outsourcing, business transformation and IT services, appointed Mike Toma to the role of CTO. Mike is joining the company after nearly 13 years with ADP. Most recently, as SVP & CIO, he led ADP’s International product and technology organizations in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific regions.

Chinese Online Consumer Finance Marketplace Yirendai Appoints COO and CTO 

Yirendai, a leading online consumer finance marketplace in China, appointed Yang Cao to the positions of COO and CTO of the company. Prior to joining Yirendai, Cao was the GM of Asia-Pacific operations at xAd. Cao also served as CTO of WhitePages and held technology executive positions at TokBox and StarCite.

Himax Technologies Announces Retirement of CTO

Himax Technologies announced CTO and SVP Chih-Chung Tsai has retired from his current position after 15 years of service and 11 years as the company’s CTO. Tsai will remain with the company and assume the position of vice chairman of Himax Technology Limited.

FBL Financial Group and Farm Bureau Financial Services Announce CIO Changes

Casey Dbecker has been named CIO of FBL Financial Group and its affiliated insurance companies that go to market as Farm Bureau Financial Services. In this role, Decker will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s IT efforts, replacing Daniel Greteman, who served as CIO since January 2015. Decker joined FBL in 2004 as a programmer analyst and progressed to Business Technology VP. Since 2014, Decker served as Agency Support VP.

Premier Promotes Leigh Anderson to SVP and CIO

Leigh AndersonPremier, a leading healthcare improvement company, promoted VP - COO, ITS Leigh Anderson to SVP and CIO. Anderson will assume the responsibilities of Keith Figlioli who resigned from his position as SVP of healthcare informatics. KCG Holdings Appoints New CTO Replacing Jon Ross      

KCG Holdings announced that Mike Blum, who joined the firm in January as Global Head of Client Technology, has been named CTO. Jon Ross, KCG's CTO, will be leaving the company to pursue a variety of personal projects in the technology space, unrelated to trading and markets. Most recently, Blum was CTO at Teza Technologies. Ross will remain at KCG as CTO through the transition period.

EarthLink Appoints Chief Information and Product Officer

EarthLink Holdings appointed Jacob J.  Ferro (Jay), Jr. as EVP, Chief Information and Product Officer. Ferro will provide leadership and oversight of EarthLink's technology operations including R&D, product and customer services offerings and investments. Prior to joining EarthLink, Ferro was CIO of the American Cancer Society (ACS) where he was responsible for the people, strategy and operations of hundreds of local offices nationwide.
