Microsoft Appoints MD for its India Lab
Microsoft announced the appointment of Sriram Rajamani as the new managing director of its India lab. Based in Bangalore, Sriram will spearhead Microsoft India's continued focus on research, innovation and collaboration with the scientific community. He replaces Chandu Thekkath, who previously was managing director of the lab for 2 years. Prior to joining the India lab, he headed the Software Productivity Tools group within Microsoft's Redmond research lab.
Salesforce Appoints Former Microsoft Exec as First Chief Equality Officer
Salesforce announced Tony Prophet will join the company as Chief Equality Officer. Prophet will be responsible for leading the company's equality initiatives, focusing on gender, LGBTQ and racial equality. Prophet is a respected leader who has held senior executive roles at Microsoft and HP. He most recently served as Microsoft's Corporate VP of Education Marketing. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Gannett.
VMware Announces Board Changes
VMware reported that Michael S. Dell has been elected to the VMware board of directors as chairman. In addition, Egon Durban was elected to the VMware board. Both of these appointments were triggered by Dell Technologies' completion of the acquisition of EMC, creating a family of businesses that provides the essential infrastructure for organizations to build their digital future, transform IT and protect their most important asset, information.
With this change, Joseph M. Tucci, the company's chairman of the board of directors since 2007, as well as John R. Egan who served as a director on the company board of directors since 2007, are resigning from the company board.
Dell currently serves as chairman of the board and CEO of Dell Technologies.
Dassault Systemes Makes Geographic Leadership Changes
Dassault Systemes has appointed Samson Khaou as the Managing Director of its India Geo. Dr. Chandan Chowdhury, who has been the India MD over the last five years will be taking over a new role as VP (Global Affairs & Business Development).
Samson Khaou will develop Dassault Systemes' India business strategy in line with the country's opportunities across sectors like aerospace and defense, transportation and mobility, consumer goods, life sciences, natural resources, industrial equipment, financial and business services, energy process and utilities. Samson Khaou is with Dassault Systemes since 1989. He launched Dassault Systemes' business in Korea and then he took the responsibility of Industry Services for Europe before leading the Asia Pacific South geo in 2011. Under his leadership, the revenue doubled, with several innovative projects such as Virtual Singapore being initiated.
Dr. Chandan will be in charge of defining new engagement and business models, focusing on the government's initiatives in areas like 'Make in India', urban transformation, digital India, smart cities and developing centers-of-excellence for creating industry-ready professionals to increase employability and interactions with senior scientists.
Workday Elects Member of its CEO Advisory Board as Director
Workday elected Lee J. Styslinger, III as a director of Workday. Styslinger has served as a member of Workday's CEO Advisory Board since 2015. Additionally, he has served as the CEO of Altec, a leading equipment and service provider for the electric utility, telecommunications, contractor, lights and signs, and tree care markets, since 1997 and as its Chairman since 2011.
Citrix Systems Appoints SVP, Products and APJ Region Sales Laeder
Citrix Systems appointed Jeff Russo as SVP, Products. Most recently, Jeff served as VP of Product Development at Citrix where he led development services for all product groups. During his 19 year career at Citrix Systems Jeff helped the company to grow from a $50 million to a $3 billion technology company and held executive management positions ranging from Corporate VP of Operations and Chief of Staff to multiple VP of product development roles.
Citrix has announced that Stanimira Koleva has been appointed group VP (GVP) of sales and services for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Most recently, Koleva was the SVP and chief operations officer, for APJ at Software AG, a leading large enterprise software company where she was responsible for the business in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
Palo Alto Networks Announces Sales Leadership Changes
Mark Anderson has been promoted to president with responsibility for the company's sales, go-to-market strategy, customer support, and business development. Over the last four years, Anderson's leadership as SVP of Worldwide Field Operations, for its sales organization has been instrumental to its growth. rior to joining Palo Alto Networks, he was EVP of Worldwide Sales at F5 Networks, where he oversaw all sales activities for the company beginning in 2007.
Dave Peranich joins the company as its new EVP, Worldwide Sales. Peranich joins Palo Alto Networks after having served in several roles over a nine-year career at Riverbed Technology. Most recently, Peranich was Riverbed’s president of worldwide field operations, but he previously held the titles of EVP of worldwide field operations and SVP of worldwide sales.
First Data Appoints Leader for APAC Region
First Data announced that Ivo Distelbrink will join the company to lead its business in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Reporting to Chairman and CEO Frank Bisignano, Distelbrink will be based in Singapore and will also serve on First Data’s Management Committee. Distelbrink joins First Data from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where he most recently held the role of Managing Director and Regional Head of Global Transaction Services (GTS) for APAC.
NetApp Appoints CMO from IBM; Appoints Area Leader for Greater China
NetApp announced the appointment of Jean English as CMO. English brings a wealth of leadership and marketing experience to the company and to the role of CMO. Her experience in business-to-business marketing spans over 20 years. Jean joins the company from IBM, where, most recently, she was the global VP for IBM Cloud Marketing and led the go-to-market transformation for IBM's cloud business.
NetApp named Fredy Cheung as Area VP, Greater China. As an industry veteran, Cheung brings deep expertise and knowledge to NetApp in the region and across the globe. He also has experience with and unique insights about the diversified new economic models of Greater China's ICT market. Cheung was previously the CEO of Capital Online Data Services Ltd. Beijing.
ANSYS Announces Leadership Succession Plan
Computer-aided engineering software developer ANSYS announced a leadership succession plan. James E. Cashman, who has served as ANSYS’ CEO since 2000, will become Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Ajei S. Gopal, a technology industry veteran who has served as a member of the ANSYS Board since 2011, has been appointed President and COO and will continue to serve on the Board. Dr. Gopal will become CEO on January 1, 2017. Dr. Gopal is a 25-year industry veteran with extensive management and business development experience at large software and technology companies. He has held leadership roles at companies including Symantec, Hewlett-Packard, CA Technologies and IBM, and also brings start-up experience, having co-founded ReefEdge Networks.
Ronald W. Hovsepian, who currently serves as Chairman of the ANSYS Board, will assume the role of Lead Independent Director as part of this transition.
Sabre Appoints Global Sales Leader for its Traveler Experience Corporate Business Division
Travel technology company Sabre Corporation has appointed Florian Tinnus VP of global sales and account leadership for Sabre Traveler Experience. Most recently Florian was the global head of Corporate Travel IT for the Amadeus IT Group. There he led the commercial organization for travel and expense solutions and services for corporate customers.
CSC Appoints Former Hartford Life CFO as Director; CA Exec Joins as VP, Controller
CSC has named Lizabeth H. Zlatkus, 57, to the company's board of directors. Zlatkus previously worked for 28 years at The Hartford Financial Services Group, as CFO and chief risk officer, as well as co-president of The Hartford Life Insurance Cos. She currently serves on the board of Boston Private Financial Holdings and Legal & General Group. Zlatkus also serves as development chair of the Connecticut Science Center Trustee Board. Previously, she served as chair of the Pennsylvania State University Business School board and as regulatory chair for the North American Chief Risk Officers Council.
CSC appointed Neil Manna VP, controller and principal accounting officer. Prior to joining the company, Manna served since 2008 as SVP, chief accounting officer and principal accounting officer of CA Technologies.
PTC Appoints Andrew Timm as CTO
PTC reported that Andrew Timm has been appointed as the company's CTO. ost recently, Timm served as vice president of PTC’s Technology Platform Group, where he energized the technical dimension of its IoT partner program. Timm began his career with PTC before following his entrepreneurial spirit, starting a consulting company focused on helping customers derive business value from PTC software. Tableau Software Announces Multiple Management Changes
Tableau Software appointed Adam Selipsky as president and CEO. Christian Chabot, Tableau's co-founder and current CEO, will continue to serve as chairman of Tableau's board of directors. Adam Selipsky has spent over a decade building Amazon Web Services. Selipsky currently serves as VP of Marketing, Sales and Support for AWS. Prior to joining Amazon, he was an executive at RealNetworks. Before that, he was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting.
Christian Chabot will remain actively involved in the company as chairman of the board of directors. He will continue to assist the company with long-term strategy and customer evangelism. Additionally, Tableau is bolstering its technology leadership.

Pratt most recently served as president and CEO of the Consumer Data Industry Association. Ellie Mae Hires Visa Exec as Chief Architect
Ellie Mae announced that Michael Keselman has joined the company as Chief Architect. Keselman will be responsible for directing the architecture of Ellie Mae's complete cloud solution offering and will drive the evolution and design of Ellie Mae's open industry cloud platform. Prior to joining the company, Keselman worked at Visa as the Chief Architect for merchant and acquirer processing. Prior to his work at Visa, Keselman was the CTO at Stanford Hospital and Clinics.
Qlik Technologies Inc. Announces Board Changes
Project Alpha Merger (Merger Sub) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Qlik Parent (Parent), completed its merger with and into Qlik Technologies. Chinese software company Kingsoft announced that retirement of Dr. Hongjiang Zhang as Executive Director and CEO. After his retirement, Dr. ZHANG will continue to serve as a consultant of the Group.

Pegasystems Appoints Bain Partner to its Board; Appoints CMO
Pegasystems appointed Dianne Ledingham, partner and director at Bain & Company, to its Board of Directors. Ledingham brings more than 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor to leading technology companies in enterprise software, mobile, cloud, and IT services, with a specialty in sales and channel effectiveness. Ledingham has had several governance roles at Bain including serving on Bain's Board of Directors.
Pegasystems also appointed Tom Libretto, 44, as CMO and SVP. Libretto has more than 20 years of marketing leadership experience in global technology organizations including Lotus, IBM, Nokia, and most recently as managing director, global head of digital experience at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC).
comScore Witnesses Board and Executive Resignations
Non-Executive Chairman William Katz notified the Company that he intends to provide notice of resignation to the global media measurement and analytics company comScore’s Board of Directors. ComScore has been under heavy scrutiny this year due to an ongoing audit of accounting issues, which had stopped the company from filing financial reports for year-end 2015 and 2016’s first and second quarters. The issues revolve around how comScore counted some of its non-cash revenues.
The company received notice from Serge Matta that he intends to resign as an Executive Vice Chairman of the Company. He previously was the Company's CEO from February 2014 until August 2016, a role he exited in August in the midst of an audit issue. Matta has been with comScore since shortly after its inception in 1999.
Gian Fulgoni took over as CEO then. President Bill Livek, formerly Rentrak CEO before the merger, will see his role continue to expand at comScore.
Melvin Wesley III also resigned as an EVP of the Company. He previously was the Company's EVP and CFO from August 2014 until August 2016.

After Vista Equity’s acquisition of Marketo, the following persons, who were the directors of Marketo, became directors of the Company: Robert F. Smith, Brian N. Sheth, Martin A. Taylor, Maneet S. Marketo announced the promotion of Chandar Pattabhiram to SVP and CMO. The appointment follows the decision of Sanjay Dholakia to leave Marketo in order to spend more time at home with his family. Q2 Holdings Appoints Former Fiserv Exec as New Chief Security Officer
Q2 Holdings reported that longtime financial services industry veteran Bob Michaud has joined the company as chief security officer. He held numerous positions at Fiserv as a loan product manager, general manager of branch automation and chief of the Quality and Standards Audit Office before becoming the head of all audit risk and compliance activities for Fiserv's Bank Solutions business unit. Michaud most recently held the position of EVP of client operations at Continuity, a technology solutions provider that automates compliance management for financial institutions.
SecureWorks Announces Board Alterations
Information security service provider SecureWorks announced that David W. Dorman, a director of the Company, notified the company’s Board of Directors in writing that he will resign from the Board, before the effectiveness of his election to the Board of Directors of Dell Technologies.
