Broadcom Announces Board Changes
American fabless semiconductor company Broadcom appointed Check Kian Low as an independent director of the company and as the company's required Singapore resident director. Low will replace Lucien Y.K. Wong as a director on the Board, whose previously announced resignation from the Board. Low, 57, was one of the founding partners and a director of NewSmith Capital Partners.
TCS Approves Removal of Director
Tata Consultancy Services approved removal of C. P. Mistry as director of the company. Mistry was the chairman of Tata Group, an Indian business conglomerate, between 2012 and 2016.
LinkedIn Announces Board Changes after Acquisition
In connection with the completion of Microsoft’s acquisition of LinkedIn, Keith R. Dolliver and Benjamin O. Orndorff, who constituted the Board of Directors of Liberty Merger Sub, a wholly owned direct subsidiary of Microsoft formed in June 2016, solely for the purpose of engaging in the M&A transactions, became the directors of the company. Each of the seven directors of LinkedIn: Reid Hoffman, Jeff Weiner, A. George “Skip” Battle, Leslie Kilgore, Stanley Meresman, Michael Moritz and David Sze are no longer directors of the company.
FIS Executive Chair Becomes Independent Chairman
Fidelity National Information Services former CEO and current Executive Chair will now serve as non-Executive Chair of the company. Alongside, Michael A. Nussbaum resigned from his position as Chief Accounting Officer to pursue other opportunities.
Xerox Announces Board Changes
Xerox appointed Joseph J. Echevarria, the former CEO of Deloitte, and Cheryl G. Krongard, a former senior partner with Apollo Management, to the Xerox board of directors. Echevarria is also on the board of directors of the Bank of New York Mellon, Unum Group, and Pfizer.
Krongard currently serves as a director on the boards of Legg Mason and Air Lease Corporation.
Marvell Technology Appoints Tudor Brown as Board Member
Marvell Technology appointed Tudor Brown, MBE, to its Board of Directors. Brown currently serves on the boards of the Lenovo Group, Tessera Technologies and the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation. Previously, he was one of the founding members of ARM Holdings. During his tenure, he served in a range of leadership roles, including EVP of Global Development, Chief Technical Officer, COO and President, and was a member of their board of directors. He also served on the Boards of P2i and ANT Software.

Canadian e-commerce company Shopify appointed Gail Goodman to its board of directors. Gail is the former CEO and Chairperson of Constant Contact, a software company providing small businesses with online marketing tools to grow their businesses. After becoming CEO in April 1999, she led Constant Contact through its initial public offering and for eight years as a publicly traded company, until its acquisition by Endurance International Group Holdings in February, 2016. Shopify announced that Trevor Oelschig has resigned from its board of directors.
Belden Combines Chair-CEO Roles
Networking, connectivity, and cable products company Belden elected John Stroup as Chairman of the Board in addition to his current roles of President and CEO. Stroup has been a member of the Board since October 2005. Bryan Cressey, prior Chairman, will remain on the Board as the Lead Independent Director.

Sartain is an executive and advisor with more than 30 years of experience as a senior human resources leader. Stansbury is a tech leader with more than 30 years of experience building scalable technology platforms and organizations across a number of leading companies. Since 2009, Tayloe Stansbury has worked at Intuit, where he is EVP and CTO. He previously served as CIO at VMware; as EVP of products and operations at Ariba; in leadership roles at Calico Commerce, Xerox, and Borland International; and in engineering and research roles at Sun Microsystems and Xerox PARC.
Sophos Group Appoints Successful Entrepreneur as Non-Executive Director
Sophos, a global leader in network and endpoint security, announced that Vin Murria is to be appointed as a non-executive director. Vin was the founder and CEO at Advanced Computer Software until it was sold to Vista Equity Partners in 2015. Imperva Appoints Silicon Valley Software Pioneer, Entrepreneur and Innovator to Board
Imperva named Roger Sippl, a serial entrepreneur whose accomplishments include founding his first company, Informix, at the age of 24, and taking three companies through an IPO, as director. Sippl is the managing partner at Sippl Investments. As founder and CEO, he led Informix Software in pioneering SQL relational databases and took the company public; it is now part of IBM. He was co-founder and chairman of CRM leader The Vantive Corporation, which went public before becoming part of PeopleSoft/Oracle. He was founder and CEO of Visigenic Software, acquired by Borland after going public. Sippl has served on more than 20 for profit boards and currently serves on the boards of Dokkio, Jive Communications and the MiddleBridge School.

Iversen serves at Dnb Nor Kapitalforvaltning ASA. Iversen co-founded EAM Solar ASA in 2012 and served as its CEO from 2012 to 2015. Iversen served as a Fund Manager at DnB NOR Telecom. He has been working with renewables since 2005.
