Zillow Group Appoints Slack Exec as Board Member 
April Underwood
Online real estate database company Zillow Group appointed April Underwood to the company's Board of Directors. Underwood is VP of product at Slack. She joined Slack as head of platform in June 2015. Underwood also is a founding member of #Angels. From 2010 until 2015, Underwood led product, marketing and business development teams as director of product at Twitter.
SYNNEX Corporation Appoints Retired Xerox Exec to its Board
SYNNEX, a leading IT design-to-distribution business process services company, appointed Ann Vezina to the company's Board of Directors. Vezina most recently was the Corporate VP, HR, of Xerox Business Services, a role she was promoted to in 2013. Prior to that she was the Corporate VP and COO for Xerox Business Services, where she led the operation and growth of Enterprise BPO. Vezina came to Xerox when it acquired Affiliated Computer Services where Vezina had been the EVP and Group President, Commercial Solutions and Services since 2006.
SEEK Appoints Former Booz & Company Management Consultant as Non-Executive Director
Online employment marketplace SEEK announced that Vanessa Wallace has been appointed to the Board as a non- executive Director. Vanessa has over 30 years of experience as a management consultant with Booz & Company. Her roles at Booz & Company included Executive Chairman of Booz & Company (Japan), lead partner of the financial services practice in Global Markets and lead partner for the strategy practice. She is currently a non-executive director of Wesfarmers and AMP and is Chairman of AMP Capital Holdings.
Meredith Appoints Retailing Veteran to Board

Meredith Corporation elected Beth J. Kaplan to the company's board of directors. Most recently, she served as President and COO of Rent the Runway, where she still serves on the board. She is former Managing Member of Axcel Partners and President and Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer of General Nutrition.
Zynga Appoints Couple of Board Members with Venture Capital and Global Technology Experience
Two new directors are joining Zynga’s Board, Carol G. Mills and Janice M. Roberts. Mills brings more than three decades of experience building global engineering teams to Zynga's Board. She currently serves as Chairman of Xactly and serves on the Board of Directors for RELX Group. Most recently, Mills served as the Interim CEO of Blue Coat Systems in late 2011. Before that, she spent nearly two years at Juniper Network, where she served as EVP and General Manager of its Infrastructure Products Group.
Roberts brings more than three decades of venture capital and technology experience to Zynga's Board. She is currently a Partner at Benhamou Global Ventures. Roberts serves on the Boards of Zebra Technologies and RealNetworks, and most recently served on the board of ARM Holdings. Prior to joining Benhamou Global Ventures, Roberts served as a Managing Director at Mayfield Fund for 13 years. Preceding her career in venture capital, Roberts held a number of executive roles in Europe and the U.S.
Xero Appoints Susan Peterson as an Independent Director
New Zealand based accounting software & online bookkeeping firm Xero appointed Susan Peterson as an independent non-executive director. She is currently a director on listed companies Trustpower, Vista Group and Property for Industry. Susan is also a director on The New Zealand Merino Company.
Former PeopleSoft CMO Joins Talend’s Board
Talend announced that it has named Nanci Caldwell to its board of directors. Caldwell brings more than two decades of global IT and software industry experience to Talend’s board. Caldwell is the former EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of PeopleSoft. Prior she spent nearly two decades at Hewlett-Packard in increasingly senior and executive sales and marketing roles in Canada, U.S. and globally. A highly sought after corporate director, Caldwell currently sits on the boards of CIBC, Citrix, Equinix, and Donnelly Financial Solutions.
