Quality Systems Announces Principal Accounting Officer Changes
Quality Systems, provider of industry-leading health IT software for medical and dental clients, announced that John K. Stumpf will resign as the company's EVP, Finance and Principal Accounting Officer. Stumpf is leaving to join another local company. The Board appointed James R. Arnold, the company's EVP and CFO, to serve in the additional role of the company's Principal Accounting Officer.
Castlight Health Announces Board Changes
Personalized health shopping platform provider Castlight Health appointed John C. Doyle, James Currier and Derek Newell as members of the Board upon the completion of the merger. Following the merger, the Board is expected to consist of: Giovanni Colella, Bryan Roberts, James Currier, John C. Doyle, Michael Eberhard, David Ebersman, Derek Newell, Ed Park, David B. Singer, and Kenny Van Zant. Dr. Roberts will resign from his position as Chairman of the Board, and Dr. Colella will be appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Board.
Alternate Health Announces Board and Management Changes
Alternate Health, diversified healthcare company that uses its expertise in technology to revolutionize patient care and service delivery, appointed Jamison Feramisco and Adam Desmond. Dr. Jamison Feramisco, MD, PhD, is trained in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology and completed his PhD research thesis in the laboratory of Nobel Laureates Drs. Mike Brown and Joe Goldstein at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Feramisco is the founder and President of Apri Health (formerly Transfuse Solutions), a next-generation healthcare data analytics and change management company based in Dallas, Texas. He also serves as chief medical officer of both Third Eye Health, a technology-enabled medical services company, and Advanced Healthcare Solutions nursing home chain.
Adam Desmond began his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in the financial quadrant. He then went on to Raymond James and Associates where he helped develop a high yield fixed income department. This experience gave him the groundwork to found ASG Securities in 1998. Adam recently created Needle Rock Capital to leverage his past expertise in the financial industry and his relationships. In addition, he founded Needle Rock Farms, to explore alternative health solutions. Adam prides himself on being a member of the Elks Club.
The company announced that the following individuals have tendered their resignations to the respective roles as indicated: Marjorie Sanderson resigned as director and CEO, Jim Griffiths resigned as CFO, Marcelin O'Neill resigned as a director of the company; and Rick Macartney resigned as a director of the company. The board of directors is now comprised of Bryan Korba, Jim Tykoliz, Jim Griffiths, Jamison Feramisco and Adam Desmond.
The company also announced recent appointments to the company's board of directors and officers of the company. The following directors and officers have been appointed: Bryan Korba – chairman and CEO. Bryan has spent the last 17 years as the managing partner of JDIFU Capital. Michael English – CFO. Mike English has over 30 years' experience working in diverse industries including data security and encryption software, telecommunications, and heavy industrial electric motors and controls.
Thomas Bartlett – COO. Tom Bartlett has over thirty years of private equity, investment banking, corporate advisory, and operating experience. Throughout his career, Tom has financed, advised or served in executive management capacities to drive growth and value appreciation of businesses operating across a spectrum of industries and business models. Prior to joining Alternate Health Corp. as its COO, Tom served as the president and CFO of an insurance services company where Tom was directly responsible for executing multiple acquisitions and financings for the business in addition to overseeing the overall operational and financial functions of the company.
Marcelin O'Neill – corporate secretary and compliance officer. Marcelin O'Neill is currently a director and CEO of Cervantes Capital Corp. O'Neill served as a director of Jagercor Energy Corp. from December 2011 to May 2014, and as CFO and Corporate Secretary of Jagercor, from July 2013 to May 2014. She served as a director of Brandenburg Energy Corp. from February 2008 to February 2013, and as CFO and Corporate Secretary from August 2010 to February 2013.
CogState Appoints Former BHP Billiton Exec as an Independent Non-Executive Director
Leading cognitive science company Cogstate appointed Jane McAloon as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Until mid-2015, Jane was part of the Group Management Committee of BHP Billiton as President, Governance and Group Company Secretary from 2013, having been Group Company Secretary from 2007. HealthcareSource Appoints CTO from Scribe Software
Provider of talent management solutions for the healthcare industry HealthcareSource announced that Bob Zurek has joined the company as SVP and CTO. In this role, he is responsible for HealthcareSource's IT, engineering, product development, and platform integration strategy. Zurek most recently served as CTO for Scribe Software, a leading data integration provider, where he led engineering, product management, and quality assurance, and was focused on expanding one of the Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) offerings.
Canada Health Infoway Announces Board Changes

SynerMed Appoints Chief Medical Officer from Care1st

In conjunction with the acquisition, Herbert Rogove, DO, FCCM, FACP, Founder and President of C30, joins InTouch as Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Rogove has over thirty years of experience directing and establishing ICUs and Intensivist, Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine programs in academic and community hospital settings. He has also held numerous leadership and administrative positions at major tertiary care facilities throughout the United States, and joined the board of directors of the American Telemedicine Association in 2012, serving as Secretary/Treasurer from 2014 through 2016.
Limeade Appoints New VP of Alliances and VP of Product and Marketing
Corporate wellness technology company Limeade appointed Eric Ranta as its new VP of alliances. As an enterprise software and HCM veteran, Ranta brings executive and managerial experience from Workday, SAP and Siebel across product management, value selling, professional services and alliances. He is now responsible for leading the alliances program at Limeade. Ranta joins Limeade from Workday.
Limeade also named Lee Rossini as its new VP of product and marketing. The former Microsoft VP led U.S. product and retail marketing, engineering the retail launches in Microsoft history for Xbox One, Windows 10, Surface and Halo 5. Rossini worked at Microsoft for the past 14 years leading teams, driving innovation and growing market share for the $5 billion U.S. consumer business."

MedAvante announced that Michael T. Susan Vallow has assumed a new position as VP, Patient eSolutions, joining the company from GSK where she was Senior Director and Head of Patient Focused Outcomes. Vallow's role will be to lead the expansion of the company's Virgil Investigative Study Platform into trials that rely on patient-reported outcomes (PRO) as key endpoint measures.
