Castlight Health Announces Board Changes 

Personalized health shopping platform provider Castlight Health appointed John C. Doyle, James Currier and Derek Newell as members of the Board upon the completion of the merger.  Following the merger, the Board is expected to consist of: Giovanni Colella, Bryan Roberts, James Currier, John C. Doyle, Michael Eberhard, David Ebersman, Derek Newell, Ed Park, David B. Singer, and Kenny Van Zant. Dr. Roberts will resign from his position as Chairman of the Board, and Dr. Colella will be appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Board.

Alternate Health Announces Board and Management Changes      Dr. Jamison Feramisco  

Alternate Health, diversified healthcare company that uses its expertise in technology to revolutionize patient care and service delivery, appointed Jamison Feramisco and Adam Desmond. Dr. Jamison Feramisco, MD, PhD, is trained in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology and completed his PhD research thesis in the laboratory of Nobel Laureates Drs. Mike Brown and Joe Goldstein at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Feramisco is the founder and President of Apri Health (formerly Transfuse Solutions), a next-generation healthcare data analytics and change management company based in Dallas, Texas. He also serves as chief medical officer of both Third Eye Health, a technology-enabled medical services company, and Advanced Healthcare Solutions nursing home chain.

Adam Desmond began his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in the financial quadrant. He then went on to Raymond James and Associates where he helped develop a high yield fixed income department. This experience gave him the groundwork to found ASG Securities in 1998. Adam recently created Needle Rock Capital to leverage his past expertise in the financial industry and his relationships. In addition, he founded Needle Rock Farms, to explore alternative health solutions. Adam prides himself on being a member of the Elks Club.

The company announced that the following individuals have tendered their resignations to the respective roles as indicated: Marjorie Sanderson resigned as director and CEO, Jim Griffiths resigned as CFO, Marcelin O'Neill resigned as a director of the company; and Rick Macartney resigned as a director of the company. The board of directors is now comprised of Bryan Korba, Jim Tykoliz, Jim Griffiths, Jamison Feramisco and Adam Desmond.

The company also announced recent appointments to the company's board of directors and officers of the company. The following directors and officers have been appointed: Bryan Korba – chairman and CEO. Bryan has spent the last 17 years as the managing partner of JDIFU Capital. Bryan currently serves on the board of Empower Heroes. Bryan previously served on the boards of 36 Power Equity, Luxe Home, Dallas Challenge and the UNT Venture Fund.

Michael English – CFO. Mike English has over 30 years' experience working in diverse industries including data security and encryption software, telecommunications, and heavy industrial electric motors and controls.

Thomas Bartlett – COO. Tom Bartlett has over thirty years of private equity, investment banking, corporate advisory, and operating experience. Throughout his career, Tom has financed, advised or served in executive management capacities to drive growth and value appreciation of businesses operating across a spectrum of industries and business models. Prior to joining Alternate Health Corp. as its COO, Tom served as the president and CFO of an insurance services company where Tom was directly responsible for executing multiple acquisitions and financings for the business in addition to overseeing the overall operational and financial functions of the company.

Marcelin O'Neill – corporate secretary and compliance officer. Marcelin O'Neill is currently a director and CEO of Cervantes Capital Corp.  O'Neill served as a director of Jagercor Energy Corp. from December 2011 to May 2014, and as CFO and Corporate Secretary of Jagercor, from July 2013 to May 2014. She served as a director of Brandenburg Energy Corp. from February 2008 to February 2013, and as CFO and Corporate Secretary from August 2010 to February 2013.

CogState Appoints Former BHP Billiton Exec as an Independent Non-Executive Director

Leading cognitive science company Cogstate appointed Jane McAloon as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Until mid-2015, Jane was part of the Group Management Committee of BHP Billiton as President, Governance and Group Company Secretary from 2013, having been Group Company Secretary from 2007. Prior to joining BHP Billiton in 2006, Jane was part of the executive team at AGL as Group Manager External and Regulatory Services and Group Company Secretary.

OptimizeRx Appoints James Lang to Board of Directors     

Health technology software company OptimizeRx appointed James Lang to its board of directors. Lang brings to OptimizeRx more than 25 years of experience in healthcare data, analytic, and technology enabled business services. Lang presently serves as an executive advisor to Water Street, a strategic private equity firm focused exclusively on building market-leading companies in healthcare. He is also a director of BioVie, a development-stage company pioneering an innovative therapeutic that targets complications due to liver cirrhosis. Lang previously served as CEO of Decision Resources Group.

Global Health Appoints Company Secretary  

Global Health, the practice management software company, appointed Glenn Fowles as Company Secretary.  Fowles takes over this position from the Chairman, being the undersigned, who was appointed on an interim basis on 11 January 2017.

Certive Solutions Witnesses Board Shuffle

Certive Solutions, provider of revenue cycle management solutions, announced the resignation of John Shackleton as chairman of the board.  Shackleton had served as chairman of the board for over 4 years. Subject to time commitments, Shackleton has agreed to consider sitting on the company's Advisory Council in the future to continue to guide and assist where appropriate. Jeff Wareham has been appointed as a director.  Wareham has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Michael Lodge Bartlett will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board.  Bartlett has previously served as Vice-Chairman.

Intrinsic4D Appoints Interim CEO    

Chris Schnarr has resigned as a director of Intrinsic4D, the 360-degree tour" anatomy software firm. Jorey Chernett has resigned as director and the CEO of the corporation. The board of directors has appointed Kyle Appleby, current CFO of the corporation, as interim CEO.

Telerx and C3i Healthcare Connections Announce Executive Changes Joel Morse       

Telerx appointed Global COO Joel Morse as president of Telerx and C3i Healthcare Connections. Morse brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in business strategy, operations and development to this role, having served as the founder and CEO of C3i. for more than 20 years. Since the acquisition of C3i by Telerx in June 2014, Morse has led the Global Healthcare Operations and Global Process Excellence teams, overseeing all healthcare operations and ensuring the high standard of quality across all services and solutions.

Morse succeeds current president, Linda Schellenger, who made the personal decision to retire from her position at the end of the first quarter of 2017.

Bracket Appoints Successful Entrepreneur as Leader for the Scientific Services Division     

Bracket, a leading clinical trial technology and specialty services provider, added Jennifer Peters to its growing team as the Company's new SVP and General Manager for the Scientific Services division. Peters most recently served as a Founder and Chief Experience Officer of Greenphire, a global provider of disruptive clinical trials payment and process optimization technology products serving pharmaceutical sponsors, biotech companies and CROs. She led Greenphire from an idea-stage startup, with three founding employees at its inception in October 2007 to a global technology enterprise with more than 100 employees and 500+ clients when it was sold to a private equity firm in 2014.

CompuGroup Medical US Announces New CEO     

Global eHealth provider CompuGroup Medical US has appointed Benedikt Brueckle as the new CEO of CompuGroup Medical US. Werner Rodorff, its current CEO, will continue to serve as CTO. In his current role as CEO, Brueckle will be responsible for leading CGM US and its market-leading IT solutions that support the clinical and practice management activities that take place in physician practices, community health centers, hospitals and laboratories.

Healthwise Appoints New General Counsel and Corporate Secretary           

Health content and patient education solutions company Healthwise promoted Tammy A. Zokan as general counsel and corporate secretary. Zokan has served as associate counsel for Healthwise since joining the health education, technology and services nonprofit in 2013. Zokan joined Healthwise after serving as an in-house attorney for WinCo Foods. Previous to that, she served as a partner at Moore Smith Buxton & Turcke.

HealthcareSource Appoints CTO from Scribe Software

Provider of talent management solutions for the healthcare industry HealthcareSource announced that Bob Zurek has joined the company as SVP and CTO. In this role, he is responsible for HealthcareSource's IT, engineering, product development, and platform integration strategy. Zurek most recently served as CTO for Scribe Software, a leading data integration provider, where he led engineering, product management, and quality assurance, and was focused on expanding one of the Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) offerings.

Canada Health Infoway Announces Board Changes  

Canada Health Infoway, a digital health solutions non-profit corporation created and funded by the federal government of Canada, appointed Dr. Peter W. Vaughan as Chair of the company's board. He will succeed Graham W. S. Scott, C.M., Q.C., who has served as the company's board Chair since August 2010. Dr.  Vaughan has extensive experience as a medical doctor in Canada, as well as in the United States, Central America and Europe. He was President and CEO, as well as Medical Director, of the South Shore District Health Authority in Nova Scotia from 2006-2012, then served as Deputy Minister of Health and Wellness for Nova Scotia from 2014 until his retirement in January 2017. During his tenure as Deputy Minister, he was a Member of the Corporation of Infoway, and was also an observer to the Infoway Board.

SynerMed Appoints Chief Medical Officer from Care1stJorge Weingarten, MD

SynerMed, developer of customized information technology and business management solutions for independent physicians, appointed Jorge Weingarten, MD, as Chief Medical Officer. He joins the company from Care1st, a health plan where he oversaw all clinical operations as the company grew from a single line of Medi-Cal business with 40,000 members to more than 500,000 members in Medi-Cal and Medicare throughout California, Arizona and Texas.

Founder and President of C30 Joins InTouch as Chief Medical Officer after Acquisition     

Telehealth services firm InTouch Health announced the acquisition of C30 Medical Corporation (C3O), a physician-led telemedicine management and physician coverage provider consisting of board certified specialists in emergent Tele-Neurology and Tele-Neurocritical Care.  In conjunction with the acquisition, Herbert Rogove, DO, FCCM, FACP, Founder and President of C30, joins InTouch as Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Rogove has over thirty years of experience directing and establishing ICUs and Intensivist, Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine programs in academic and community hospital settings. He has also held numerous leadership and administrative positions at major tertiary care facilities throughout the United States, and joined the board of directors of the American Telemedicine Association in 2012, serving as Secretary/Treasurer from 2014 through 2016.

Limeade Appoints New VP of Alliances and VP of Product and Marketing 

Corporate wellness technology company Limeade appointed Eric Ranta as its new VP of alliances. As an enterprise software and HCM veteran, Ranta brings executive and managerial experience from Workday, SAP and Siebel across product management, value selling, professional services and alliances. He is now responsible for leading the alliances program at Limeade. Ranta joins Limeade from Workday.

Limeade also named Lee Rossini as its new VP of product and marketing. The former Microsoft VP led U.S. product and retail marketing, engineering the retail launches in Microsoft history for Xbox One, Windows 10, Surface and Halo 5. Rossini worked at Microsoft for the past 14 years leading teams, driving innovation and growing market share for the $5 billion U.S. consumer business."

Cerner Exec Joins Nextech Systems as VP of Product Management

Nextech Systems, the provider of EMR software and practice management for specialty healthcare providers, appointed Jeff Lew as the company's new VP of product management. Most recently, he served as the director of operations and program office at Cerner's innovations lab.

xG Health Solutions Appoints VP, Care Management from VillageMD

xG Health Solutions, the healthcare consulting and analytics services company, announced that Jess Cramer has joined the organization as VP, Care Management. Prior to joining xG Health, Cramer led care management and physician operations for the market launch team at VillageMD.

MedAvante Goes through Multiple Leadership Changes       

MedAvante announced that Michael T. Ropacki, PhD, has been appointed VP, Research and Development to lead the company's continued expansion of clinical science and signal detection capabilities Dr. Ropacki was previously Director, Clinical Research Neuroscience, Research and Development, for Janssen Research & Development (Johnson & Johnson) where he was responsible for leading the Cognitive Health in Aging Registry: Investigational, Observational and Trial studies in dementia research – Prospective Readiness Cohort (CHARIOT-PRO) program, and he was also responsible for the development and execution of other clinical programs within the neuroscience therapeutic area.

Ian C. Neilson has accepted the position of SVP, Global IT to lead the company's rapidly growing IT operations supporting clinical science and signal detection capabilities. Neilson was a key senior IT executive for more than 19 years at Covance, now a division of LabCorp Holdings, serving most recently as VP, Technology and Innovation within the Clinical Development Services division.

Susan Vallow has assumed a new position as VP, Patient eSolutions, joining the company from GSK where she was Senior Director and Head of Patient Focused Outcomes. Vallow's role will be to lead the expansion of the company's Virgil Investigative Study Platform into trials that rely on patient-reported outcomes (PRO) as key endpoint measures.
