Former Salesforce CMO Joins Ford Motor’s Board of Directors
Ford Motor Company announced the election of Lynn Vojvodich to the company’s board of directors. Vojvodich is a global technology executive who has built, grown and transformed businesses for more than 20 years. She works with venture capital firms as an advisor to pre-IPO and start-up companies. From 2013 to February 2017, Vojvodich was EVP and CMO of Salesforce.
Vojvodich has held leadership roles at Microsoft and BEA Systems and was a partner at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. She began her career as a mechanical engineer in a hard hat working on the design and construction of Gulfstream jets and offshore oil structures. Vojvodich serves as an independent director of The Priceline Group and was chairman of Take3.
Sempra Energy Taps Ixia CEO to Serve on its Board
Sempra Energy's Board appointed Bethany Jean Mayer to serve on the Board. Mayer has served in her current CEO role with Ixia since 2014. Previously, from 2010 to 2014, she held a variety of leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, including SVP and general manager of its network functions virtualization business. From 2007 to 2010, Mayer was SVP, worldwide marketing and corporate development, of Blue Coat Systems, a cybersecurity and network management firm. Previously, she held management roles at Cisco Systems, Apple and Lockheed Martin.
International Game Technology Names Executive Dean of the Edinburgh Business School to the Board
International Game Technology announced the appointment of Heather J. McGregor as an independent director. McGregor is the Executive Dean of the Edinburgh Business School, the graduate school of business of Heriot-Watt University in the U.K. McGregor is also the principal shareholder and non-executive chairman of the executive search firm Taylor Bennett. In addition, McGregor is a director of Non-Standard Finance.
Paysafe Group Appoints Female Non-Executive Directors
Online payments company Paysafe Group named Jennifer Allerton and Karen Guerra as independent Non-Executive Directors of the company. Jennifer Allerton brings a wealth of international experience in payments technology, data innovation, operations and IT strategy. She is the former CIO of the pharmaceutical division of Hoffmann-La Roche, where she was a member of the pharmaceutical executive committee which doubled sales and quadrupled profits in a five-year period. Jennifer is currently a non-executive director on the boards of Sandvik, Iron Mountain and Aveva Group.
Karen Guerra has significant senior-level experience in the consumer goods sector, having been Managing Director and Chairman of Colgate-Palmolive's UK company between 1996-1999, followed by heading the larger French subsidiary between 1999-2006 operating across Oral, Personal & Household Care. She is a non-executive director of Davide Campari-Milano.
Intuit Senior Exec Joins Bank Holding Company’s Board
Banner Corporation, the parent company of Banner Bank and Islanders Bank, appointed Merline Saintil to the Board. Saintil serves as Head of Operations for the Product & Technology group at Intuit. Before joining Intuit, Saintil served as Yahoo's Head of Operations for Mobile & Emerging Products.
Former CIO of Southern Company Joins Board of Investment Firm
Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, that provides debt and equity financing to the energy efficiency and renewable energy markets, appointed Rebecca Blalock as an independent member of the board. Blalock has extensive experience in the energy and IT industries, having served in a variety of roles for over 30 years at Southern Company and its subsidiaries, most recently as its SVP and CIO from 2002 to 2011.
