Facebook Appoints Couple of Geographic Leaders
Facebook has appointed Umang Bedi as MD, India. Bedi will lead in building and maintaining strategic relationships with top clients and regional agencies in the country. He will take over from Kirthiga Reddy, who will be returning to United States to take on a new role at the company's headquarters at Menlo Park. Prior to joining Facebook, Bedi was the MD of the South Asia region at Adobe.
Facebook has appointed Shant Oknayan as head of e-commerce, retail and online services at Facebook in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan. He formerly led Google's market development for small and medium-sized businesses in the Middle East and North Africa.
Twitter Sees Multiple Board and Leadership Shuffles
Twitter announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Debra L. Lee, 60, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks, he parent company for Black Entertainment Television, to serve as a Board member. She served as the COO and President of Black Entertainment Television LLC since 1996.
Additionally, the Board has appointed Marjorie Scardino, 69, as lead independent director, effective following Twitter's 2016 Annual Meeting. She succeeds Peter Currie in the role, whose term will end following the Annual Meeting. Scardino is the former CEO of Pearson PLC.
Twitter appointed Mark Little as the new MD of Twitter in Ireland. The former RT broadcaster, who left Storyful in June 2015, has taken up the role with current chief Stephen McIntyre leaving the company. He has previously worked as RTÃ 's Washington correspondent and left the State broadcaster in 2009.
Twitter announced that its two executives are leaving. The two executives, Jana Messerschmidt and Nathan Hubbard, led business development and media and commerce, respectively. Messerschmidt had been at the company for six years, and Hubbard had worked since August 2013 on the company's media and commerce strategies. In their place, Twitter will appoint Ali Jafari, who leads the company's video advertising product, to take over both roles.
TripAdvisor Appoints VP, Global Partnerships
TripAdvisor appointed Stephanie Kauffman to the position of VP, global partnerships. Kauffman most recently was the chief communications and engagement officer for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the private funder of breast cancer research. Earlier, she was SVP, Global Alliances, Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Universal Studios at Universal Pictures.

58.com announced that Dong Yang has tendered his resignation as a director on the board of directors. Yang has served as 58.com's Director since August 2006. Yang is a general partner at SAIF Partners, a private equity firm.
Yandex Approves Interim Chair to Permanent Chair Role
Yandex N.V., the Russia based search engine provider, elected John Boynton, previously interim chairman, as chairman of the Board. Boynton is the president of Firehouse Capital, a privately held investment company with investments in a variety of early stage companies. He also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.

Ingenico ePayments appointed Nick Tubb as GM, Asia Pacific. Tubb was most recently VP of Professional Services with Ingenico ePayments, part of the Ingenico Group, in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he spent 12 years within the commercial forex industry, leading business acquisition and growth teams in the UK, US and Australia.
Match Group Hires Senior Political and Media Strategist as VP, Public Affairs; Appoints CEO for Dating Site Subsidiary
Match Group hired senior political and media strategist Matt David as VP, Public Affairs. David comes to Match Group from Outside Eyes where he was managing partner focused on public affairs and corporate positioning. He has also been a part of the last four presidential elections serving in various campaign roles for President Bush, Senator McCain, Governor Huntsman, and Governor Kasich.
Elie Seidman has joined as CEO of OkCupid. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at BorrowersFirst. Michael Maxim, current CEO of OkCupid, will move to the role of ongoing advisor.
Criteo Opens a New Office in New Delhi; Appoints MD of India
Digital marketing firm Criteo has announced the opening of a new office in New Delhi and the appointment of Ajeet Kandachar as MD of India, to lead the business in one of its large strategic growth markets globally. Kandachar joins Criteo from Vizury, where he was responsible for growing the business throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Kandachar's experience also includes various sales and business development positions in India.
Amaya Announces Board Changes
Web editor Amaya’s board member Paul McFeeters, 60, has resigned. The board intends to appoint David Lazzarato, 59, as a director to replace McFeeters. Lazzarato served as a member of the board of directors and chair of the audit committee of Yellow Pages since December 2012 and was SVP, Finance at Bell Canada in 2010 and 2011.
CEO David Baazov and CFO Daniel Sebag have announced the company's board they won't stand for re-election as directors. Both have been long-standing members of Amaya’s board. Baazov has been with the company since 2006 and Sebag since 2007. The board is actively engaged in identifying suitable director candidates with competencies that complement those of Amaya's existing directors.
Zynga Names EA Exec as President of Publishing
Zynga has appointed Bernard Kim as President of Publishing. Kim, 40, is a mobile gaming and interactive entertainment veteran with more than 15 years of experience. He spent nearly 10 years at Electronic Arts, most recently as the company's SVP of Mobile Publishing.
Cardtronic Replaces General Counsel
Cardtronics announced that Roger Craig has been named as General Counsel and Secretary. Craig replaces Michael Keller, who has announced his retirement. Keller, having served as general counsel since 2001, will assist in a smooth transition and will continue on as an advisor for Cardtronics. Craig joins Cardtronics from Axcess Financial Services where he served as SVP, chief legal officer, and chief compliance officer and secretary.

Shutterfly announced that Philip Marineau will resign as chairman and from Shutterfly’s Board of Directors following the company’s annual shareholder meeting. Brian Swette, governance committee chair, will serve as interim chairman.

China based online media, search and game service company Sohu.com’s President and CFO Carol Yu will retire. The Company will retain Ms. Yu as a consultant for a transition period from August through the end of 2016. The Company has appointed Joanna Lv to assume the position of acting CFO. Lv joined Sohu in August 2000. She is currently the Senior Finance Director, in charge of day-to-day finance operations.
