GE Digital COO Joins United Technologies as CIOVince Campisi

Vince Campisi, COO for GE Digital, responsible for cybersecurity, business and cloud operations, has left. He joins United Technologies as SVP, Digital, and CIO. Campisi started with GE in 1999 and progressed through leadership roles including GM, Cloud Services & CIO for GE Software.

Equinix Appoints Senior Sales and Channel Executive as Chief Sales Officer          

Equinix, the global interconnection and data center company, has appointed Mike Campbell as Chief Sales Officer. In this newly expanded role, Campbell will directly lead company's Global Accounts, Business Development and Channel Programs, coordinating sales execution across regional teams globally and delivering more tightly integrated solutions to customers. Campbell joined company in 2015 as SVP of Sales, with more than 30 years of experience managing global teams and working within respected technology companies, including NCR, UUNET, CompuServe, MCI and WorldCom.

Alcatel-Lucent Splits Chair-CEO Structure         

Marc Rouanne has been appointed as Chairman of the Board and Olivier Durand as CEO of the company. The Board of Directors acknowledged the expiration of the term of Philippe Camus as Chairman and CEO of the company, and decided to distinguish the positions of Chairman of the Board and CEO.

Marc Rouanne remains Chief Innovation and Operating Officer of Nokia Corporation, as Alcatel-Lucent has joined Nokia following successful exchange of shares, creating an innovation leader in next-generation technology and services for an IP connected world.

Olivier Durand's current employment contract as Group CFO will be suspended. Durand has spent over 18 years within the Alcatel-Lucent Group.

Capgemini Group Makes Cloud Infrastructure Services Management Reshuffle         

Capgemini Group announced executive appointments: Patrick Nicolet, formerly Head of the Infrastructure Services business, continues to be a member of the Group Executive Board, in charge of the newly created Competitiveness central department that encompasses Delivery, Industrialization and Procurement. Patrick also now oversees Capgemini's India operations.

Capgemini's Group Sales Director Paul Nannetti now leads the Cloud Infrastructure Services business.

Brocade Appoints Director of Infrastructure Analytics for APJ         

Brocade appointed Paddy McDermott as Director of Infrastructure Analytics for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). Based in Sydney, most recently, McDermott spent five years as principal architect and senior solutions consultant at Virtual Instruments, performing network analytics on critical customer applications and virtualized infrastructure. McDermott held a variety of storage and cloud consulting and architect roles during a successful 16-year career. He has an in-depth understanding of data center and cloud architecture, with consulting experience at companies such as Telstra, Hitachi Data Systems, Dell, Sun Microsystems, and StorageTek.

Paycom Elects Legal Expert to BoardLarry Parman

Paycom Software, a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based HCM software, announced that Larry Parman, president and CEO of Parman & Easterday, has been appointed to board, replacing Conner Mulvee, who tendered his resignation. Parman founded Parman & Easterday, LLP, a law firm, in 1985. From November 2013 to January 2015, he served as Secretary of Commerce for the State of Oklahoma and executive director of the Oklahoma Commerce Department after fulfilling his duties as the Oklahoma Secretary of State.

GoDaddy Announces CMO Changes 

GoDaddy announced that Philip H. Bienert has resigned as chief marketing officer. The company appointed Barbara Rechterman as chief marketing officer, upon Bienert's resignation. Rechterman has been its Chief Customer Officer since March 2015. Prior to joining The Go Daddy Group, Rechterman was employed from 1988 to June 1997 in various capacities at Parsons Technology, including as Co-President, VP and Controller.

21Vianet Group Appoints Board Member with Investment Experience in the Venture Capital Industry      

21Vianet Group, one of the largest carrier-neutral Internet and data center service provider in China, has appointed Wei Yuan as a director. Yuan is the president of Tus-Holdings Co. Ltd. Yuan has 16 years of investment experience in the venture capital industry and has served as a director or supervisor in several listed companies. Additionally, Kong Kat Wong, co-founder and VP of Xiaomi Corporation, will transition to Board Observer status.

CYREN Appoints VP of Global Cloud Operations    Hesham Eassa

Cloud-based cyber security solutions provider CYREN announced that Hesham Eassa has joined the company as VP of global cloud operations. Eassa most recently served as VP of global cloud operations at Zscaler for the past three years. Eassa is responsible for the infrastructure and operation of CYREN's global security cloud.
