Toy and board game company Hasbro announced that Hope Cochran, former CFO of King Digital, to the company’s board of directors. Cochran joined King Digital in 2013 as CFO. Prior, she served as CFO of Spring subsidiary Clearwire.

G4S Appoints Director from Telecom Domain

British multinational security services company G4S plc appointed Barbara Thoralfsson as a non-executive director of its board. Thoralfsson has extensive international and board and technology experience, having been CEO of Norwegian mobile phone operator NetCom ASA (Telia) and a non-executive director of Tandberg ASA, Telenor ASA, and Cable & Wireless Plc. Barbara has also served as a non-executive director on the boards of Electrolux AB and Orkla ASA.
Colfax Appoints CEO of Hackbright Academy with Prior Experience in Tech Investments to Board of Directors
Fluid handling products manufacturer Colfax appointed Sharon Wienbar, CEO of Hackbright Academy and venture partner at Scale Venture Partners, to its Board of Directors. Wienbar has served as the CEO and as a director of Hackbright Academy, the leading software engineering school for women founded in San Francisco, since November 2015. At Scale Venture Partners, where Wienbar has served since 2001, she led investments in technology companies and has served on the board of numerous portfolio businesses. She continues to serve on the board of Everyday Health as well as the boards of Applause Software Quality and Actiance.
