BlackBerry named Rear Admiral Robert "Bob" E. Day, Jr., U.S. Coast Guard (Ret.) to lead their forthcoming federal Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) and product FedRAMP initiatives. Having been a key member of BlackBerry's AtHoc advisory board since retiring in 2014 and serving five years as CIO and Commander of Coast Guard Cyber Command, Rear Admiral Day brings 34-years of career experience in Federal IT and cybersecurity to the position.

Flipkart, India - $1.5B, November 2016
Flipkart announced that Peeyush Ranjan has quit the company as CTO and will leave by December end. Flipkart Labs, an initiative headed by Ranjan, will be led by Ravi Garikipati, Flipkart's head of engineering. Ranjan will be joining Airbnb in San Francisco as VP of engineering.

Myntra has appointed Ajit Narayanan as its new CTO. This comes after the previous CTO Shamik Sharma moved on to take an advisory role. Sharma is reportedly expected to leave Myntra after a four-year stint at the company. Narayanan was formerly the head of engineering at Myntra.
